Ex-Municipal Machine Since New, This Unit Has Been Through Our “Marcel Reconditioning Process” & All Needed Repairs Have Been Completed, Recent Transmission & Torque Rebuild, CAT Straight Landfill Blade, CAT Plus Compaction Wheels, Front & Rear Striker Bars, Complete Machine Will Be Sandblasted, Primed, Painted & New Decals Applied, Warranty Included.
At 7,651 hours, CAT dealer performed the following:
REBUILT transmission & torque converter
Installed NEW bearings & seals
Installed NEW solenoid valves & harnesses
Installed NEW transmission case
Installed NEW shafts & gears where needed
Bench tested after REBUILD
Steering pump replaced with REMAN
At 8,355 hours, the following repairs & service were done by Marcel Equipment;
Upon arrival to our yard, all covers & guards were removed & machine was power washed
Visual & operational inspections were completed
Engine oil filter cut open & checked for contaminates - clean
Transmission filter changed & suction screen checked - all clean
Checked both differentials - oil levels good & oils clean
Checked brake system - good
Checked parking brake - good
Installed NEW radio
Checked all grease lines & greased unit
Installed NEW rear differential pinion seal
Installed NEW cab mounts
Installed NEW a/c lines
Installed NEW ether injector
Removed & resealed starter
Resealed pilot valve
Cleaned heater core
Installed NEW rear wiper
Installed NEW valve cover gasket
Set intake & exhaust valve clearance
Installed NEW fuel injectors
Engine oil pan gasket was leaking a bit of oil
We took the opportunity to roll NEW CAT standard size main, thrust & rod bearings
Removed & inspected engine oil pump - good
This is an ex municipal unit & well maintained
All mechanical & cosmetic repairs have been completed
This unit will soon enter our paint facility where it will be sand blasted, primed, painted & new decals applied.
