The Cat 302 CR is a 2-ton class mini excavator with compact radius swing. CR stands for Compact Radius. With an operating weight just over 2 tons, it features retractable tracks and an ultra-short swing tail, allowing it to navigate residential corridors, basements and compact yards. Powered by Caterpillar’s proprietary C1.1 China Stage IV engine and load-sensing hydraulic system, it balances strong power, low fuel consumption and precise controllability. It is available in two configurations: a simple canopy and an enclosed air-conditioned cab.
