The Cat 310 is a new-generation short-swing compact mini excavator in the 10-ton class. Positioned above the Cat 306E2, it occupies the ideal weight class bridging small mini excavators and standard medium excavators, combining outstanding maneuverability in confined job sites with heavy-duty digging and lifting capacity at the 10-ton level. Designed primarily for compliant export markets including Europe, the United States, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, it meets stringent EPA Tier 4 Final and Euro Stage V emission standards. It adopts a short swing tail design with a small swing radius, eliminating frequent repositioning during urban old-town renovation and work on narrow construction sites. With an operating weight ranging from 9.5 to 10.2 tons and a fixed wide 2470 mm track gauge, it delivers reliable ground contact stability to prevent slipping or tipping on soft ground and slopes.
